The Erasmus+ project «Green Detectives of ICTs: ICT in the Development of Gamified and Innovative Applications» (Project Code: 2025-1-ES-01-KA210-VET-000359588) is hosted by IES Playamar in Torremolinos, Spain, from October 4 to October 10, 2026. This training and dissemination mobility brings together international students and teachers from Spain, the Czech Republic (Mendelova Střední Škola), and Italy (Liceo Classico Scientifico Euclide).
Key Highlights of the Program:
- ICT & Innovation Workshops: The itinerary features hands-on digital learning, including interactive sessions such as «Green IT: Mission Unlocked – A Digital Breakout Challenge for a More Sustainable Future» and workshops focused on implementing activities and competing on the eTwinning platform.
- Environmental Sustainability: Combining technology with eco-conscious practices, students participate in a practical workshop on environmental automation using Arduino applications to monitor and control environmental factors, alongside visits to key natural landmarks like the Caminito del Rey.
- Institutional & Local Collaboration:
- Torremolinos City Council (Ayuntamiento): Participants will receive an official institutional welcome by the mayor or a local councillor of Torremolinos, highlighting the support and engagement of the local municipality with international educational initiatives.
- University of Málaga (UMA): Participants will visit the SCAI (Central Research Support Services) at the University of Málaga to explore advanced research capabilities, followed by a joint lunch at the university campus.
- Málaga Technology Park (PTA) & Orthoapnea: The mobility includes an exclusive guided visit to Orthoapnea, a prominent biomedical technology company based in the Málaga TechPark, offering students direct exposure to cutting-edge technology and corporate innovation in the health sector.
This mobility successfully combines digital education, sustainability awareness, cultural exchange, and direct connections with public institutions, academic centers, and leading tech companies.
